P.E funding - The government has given schools a set amount of money which is designed to improve the provision of P.E & Sport within primary aged learners. We as a school have been allocated approximately £13,815. We have chosen to buy into a agreement from LSSP on this occassion the gold option (click on the pages to see what we receive as part of our gold package - page 1, page 2) which provides. membership of LSSP, free entry into competitions, network meetings for P.E co-ordinators, unlimited CPD (training)for school staff, resource support, support in achieving nationally recognised awards, 2 INSET days, a P.E review, leadership training for pupils, change for life resources, Ofsted statistical data, 1 FULL DAY of specialist P.E support, Support in swimming. We also pay a specialist P.E coach for 1 half day per week to support the delivery of after school clubs, and develop staff CPD.
We believe this option provides excellent value for the school, the children and our staff in providing high quality P.E sessions and after school based sports clubs.
We have invested in teacher CPD and the support of a P.E specialist coach to provide high quality P.E support and CPD.
Specialist P.E teachers work along side class teachers to deliver P.E. Additional opportunities to take part in competitive sport with some success.
